I keep thinking of random little things I should post to DW as I'm watching or reading something, and then it seems too tiny a thing after so long quiet, and then I don't, and then it's worse, so here, have a random reaction to a rewatch of the first few episodes of Leverage last night:

Eliot and Hardison have just taken on a small gang in a little tunnel.

Hardison, bouncing and excited: "Did you see me??"

Eliot: "He was injured."

Hardison: "Hey, somebody's gotta fight the injured. I've found my niche!"

Yeah, I feel much the same about Nate, but I find it easier to just glide past his bits now. I already know his deal, so, whatever. *handwave* (And it's only thanks to him we have Sterling, so he gets points for that *g*)

Man, tough crowd. :D I like Nate! Not like as in "would hang out with", but as a fictional character, who serves as the perfectly-shaped piece of grit in the shell from which the oyster ends up creating a beautiful pearl. Can't have a pearl without that single central piece of grit! Pulls things together, provides the core friction, the guidance that provides the shape, etc.

Ah, yes, that's it! That's actually how I'm responding to him this time, as someone who exist to shape the narrative rather than someone I'm supposed to be directly interested in. On the first run, I kept running up hard against how my reaction to him is so different than it is to the rest of the team, and it was jarring.

We are watching the same show! I would watch the Parker, Eliot and Hardison show forever. Nate and Sophie are okay but it's those 3 I adore. I had no problem with Tara, but I was in it for those 3.
