I'd dropped away from GBBO, too; I was concerned that the whole thing would feel too different. And it wasn't just Mel and Sue, it's Mary, too. (I love watching Mary; she was born around the same time as my mom, and has a lot of the same mannerisms / expressions / attitudes. I think they would have gotten along like a house afire if they'd ever met.) But we needed something to destress with, and gave it a shot, and it's different but still GBBO. I'm enjoying it.
