Man, I just adore Carla, and all her freaky ways. I like Richard a lot, too, and clearly he's an amazing chef, but I love the episodes where he's all "I made a gourmet meal out of the rarest ingredients on the planet, which I froze using liquid nitrogen then shattered with this hand-crafted ice hammer, and I'm serving it to you via this fully sentient robot I built in the stew room while we were waiting" and Carla shows up and says "Hey, y'all! I made peas," and she wins because they are the BEST PEAS EVER. And poor Richard is standing there flabbergasted, saying, "... but I built a robot!"
heeee
The commercials really don't do that much to make Fairly Legal look intriguing to a fannish eye, really. Which I can't say is inaccurate (the way that, say, Miracles's commercials managed to completely miss the mark with what should have been a solid fannish base). But it's decent light entertainment, and now it has RDA, so hey. *g*
Somewhere on videotape I have all of his Minute Pass commercials... :D
Hee! I'm very glad to hear it; I suspect any copies I had on videotape are loooong gone, as they would have just been randomly recorded along with a show, and I cleared out about 80% of my tapes a few years back.
