Oh. My. God. The way they used those Ancient stones was so, so skeezy. Did you hear how Young (incompetent military commander with creepy Van Heflin-ish eye cups) used them to swap bodies with Telford (Lou Diamond Phillips) to get back to Earth, then went and fucked his ex-wife in (with?) Telford's body? And then later, Telford body swapped with Rush to get onto Destiny, and Young beat the shit out of him and wanted to kill him because he was in a relationship with Young's ex? I was just... holy shit, dude, YOU started that whole thing! Plus, you're a hypocrite since you haven't been sitting around pining for your ex, you've been banging your medic and even knocked her up. YOU ARE A GIANT DOUCHEBAG.
And I will never, EVER get over the fact that, even though they were rationing food (that looked like gruel), and considered killing prisoners just so they wouldn't have to feed them, someone had set up a still, and apparently made plentiful amounts of alcohol. WTF were they distilling?? I mean, were people really so dumb that they didn't realize how preposterous and stupid that was?
God, I hated that show. And it was sad that, after enjoying SG-1 and SGA so much for so long, we were given that... gigantic load of crap. TPTB thought they were being SO cool and cynical and edgy and dark and super-deep, and it was all meaningless drivel. I'm glad RDA, Shanks, and Tapping will never have to be on it again.
