If FL is really doing only ten eps, there's only five more to go at this point, so he'll probably be in the majority of what's left, at least (assuming they didn't cut any of his episodes, and since his role is part of the season arc, such as it is, I'm hoping they didn't cut any of his - hopefully they just dropped standalone eps).
I did see that horrifying body-swap episode, and I was so skeeved out, omg. I think that was the final straw for me, and I took off my Season Pass for the show.
And yes, any faint sympathy I had for Young early on evaporated when it became clear that he wanted to be able to run around sleeping with whoever he wanted, while fully expecting his wife to sit at home for eternity in the wistful hope that someday he'd come back to her.
... I missed the part about the still. WTF, you do not distill precious carbohydrates when your people are starving!
The worse thing about SGU was that in the leadup to it, therienne, mollyamory, and I were sure we'd like it, because Brad Wright and Robert Cooper had never yet failed to create characters we liked, and even rescue some characters we actively disliked. So whatever the premise was, at least we'd be able to watch for the characters!
UGH.
(Although I still, still, blame Mallozi and Mullie and Kindler for a lot of the problems in the Stargate universe overall, both settings and characterization. I really miss the first three seasons of SG.)
God save me from people trying to be cool and cynical and edgy and dark and deep. Just tell me a damn story, ffs.
