That was such dated (and delusional) male-centric thinking, I was shocked that it came from those writers. I agree, though, Re: M&M and DK, because they were so... derivative and unimaginative most of the time.

Word! And give me characters who aren't all totally unsympathetic (though, I confess, I like Rush and Telford).
I always felt, deep down, that the only reason RCC and BW were even able to sell SF on another SG show was by agreeing to do a BSG-style reboot. And that's exactly what they did, and it was even worse than BSG in some ways. I mean, when I remember how, in 200, the writers mocked the idea of a young, sexy SG-1, and then they turned SGU into that!
