I use Thunderbird to check gmail

Thunderbird allows you to set up an POP account to check gmail, I use it all the time because I've never wanted to be always logged into google. There are instructions in gmail on how to do it.
Thanks for your tips, I've already cleared & paused my web browing history, and Youtube is next.
