Ah, see, I am not so social as you! I've got a few lists I still follow, and DW, and that's pretty much it, so adding a twitter (that I keep forgetting to look at), and tumblr was less overkill for me.
I'm also largely about the text and the discussion, but I admit, some of the images are awfully nice, and they're the sorts of things I don't usually stumble over on my own (I do have a deviantArt account to find things more easily over there, but that interface baffles me even more, so I don't use it).
It's also a way to find vids, btw! I look a little askance at the reblogging thing, but in the end, esp. if the vidder is the one who posts it, they'll be able to see how many people have liked or reblogged it. So not quite feedback, but sort of interesting stats...
(Not that I'm rushing to put our vids up -- I still don't quite grok how it all works well enough to risk it.)
