underneath are comments and replies, marked like email used to be (before everyone started top replying!)
I know, right?? A whole platform that forces bottom replies! \o/ You can actually read down through a thread!!
I can't figure out how to get my comment in there showing I made it. And I have no idea if that made a speck of sense.
You mean, if you reblog it and add a comment to the text box? The line won't show up on your reblog; the top of the post will say "ithildyn reblogged whoever" then there will be the lines attached to other people's names and comments, then at the bottom your comment on its own.
When someone else reblogs from you, your comment will have a line drawn down from your name, I think.
Basically it really is set up like email replies, in that the most recent person in the thread is unmarked, so you can easily find the new text.
The one thing I do know is that Tumblr is a time sucker. I'll pop on 'for just a second', and 20 Tom Hiddleston reblogs later.... [sigh]
I knoooooow. A few months ago I was totally meh, and even leading up to Avengers (because I am a spoilerphobe), but now suddenly it is much more fun to keep scrolling! (I am still bad at reblogging, or even liking, and instead things I want to remember keep scrolling away. woe.)
And one of my new fandoms, Person of Interest, is *way* busier on tumblr than it is on DW -- lots of energy, lots of chatter. So I'm totally charmed by that.

Just have to learn to put a timer on...
