It really does. I think at least part of it has to be the characters, because the school decorations change during the year, so the trees there are consciously added.

But for it to be so incredibly pervasive - man, there has to be something underlying it, too. Like they didn't just all get sent to Storybrooke; somehow Storyland itself got transformed and pulled through, at least this one part of it, at least as an echo of itself.
