I know, right? I was sort of vaguely aware while watching live -- things like Ruby's shorts are hard to miss *g* -- but then started to be really struck by it with Mary Margaret and David, then as I looked closer I was just blown away. They're putting so much work into all of these little details to help the story along!
The obsession thing, man. I came this close to adding screencaps of Henry and Emma's first meeting, because if you look closely, her nail polish -- which is a bit too dark to go with her bright red dress IMO, but I am not good with makeup so who knows -- matches the red in his scarf perfectly, and then later in the car his scarf and her jacket are a match...
