Oh, yeah, I think it was definitely a reflection of Sandy rather than an attempt at being it, but the person whose post I was reading (I have no idea who, or where - forgot to open it in a separate tab) was trying to place the show storm in the real-world timeline, and assuming it must be hurricane season to have a storm like that. The coincidence of Mother Nature showing up with a nor'easter of similar scale on the night the show aired a nor'easter just tickled me.
