It's also really hard for us to vid for a con we're not going to be at; we want to see the reaction. So years that we don't go to a con, we may very well not produce anything, despite making the attempt; there's just not enough push to finish if we start having problems.

Man, I can totally relate to this (though I do have other issues that keep me unproductive). Nothing compares to watching your vid with a con audience, whether the reactions are good or bad -- even if it means you're hyperventilating or having a panic attack at the time.

I'm having to come to grips with other options, though, because I may not be able to attend VVC again (the hotel beds are excruciating).
