Here via the metafandom delicious :) Just wanted to comment on your more-extended version, since you mentioned the 255-character limit in the note field - that's one of my pet peeves! Luckily, there's a Greasemonkey script called the delicious Anal-Retentive Character Counter, which keeps track of how many characters you've typed or pasted into the note field. If you go over 255, it will bold the number, and it reminds you that your notes will be cut off when you try to click post while that number is higher than 255. It's especially useful in that it holds onto all of the characters while you're editing, so you can snip a quote down in a useful manner, rather than having it cut off arbitrarily.
