Desperate times call for desperate measures, and sometimes that means taking in your neighbor's cat instead of letting her stay cold. In the story here, the protagonist has seen her neighbor's "cat" come around to their home for the last 2 years. This poor cat has gotten pregnant several times, and the owners don't do anything. The protagonist has tried everything – to approach the neighbor, to take the cat herself. She claims that the little boy who lives there says his mom doesn't like when the cats are inside because they go to the bathroom everywhere. It's not a good excuse. It's their cat, they should train their cat to go to the bathroom in the litter box. Besides, the cat is probably going to the bathroom everywhere because she's starved for attention!

A cat acting up means that they need attention, not a punishment. When the neighbors try to take the cat, the real owners get upset and tell them they are stealing their cat. The neighbors let the cat go, but of course, the cat just shows up again and again to their home. They already have pets, and aren't prepared to have more, but they do what they can to help.

No, I did not spend all the money in my wallet on chocolate*, but I treated us to a box of chocolates from Serenade, the chocolatier in Brookline with a wide selection of vegan chocolates.

I took the bus to Brookline Village, walked a little extra because I was wrong about which bus stop to use, walked into the shop, and asked for a one-pound box.

I bought two vegan caramels, which Adrian had asked for; I'd have gotten more, but I wasn't sure what she or Cattitude think of sea salt caramel. Just for myself, I got six dairy truffles, three lemon and three lime. The rest was a few (vegan) chocolate creams, and a lot of chocolate-dipped fruit and nuts, including several of their excellent chocolate covered plums, a candy I haven't seen anywhere else.

I came home via Trader Joe's, where I bought fruit, a bell pepper, hummus, pre-cooked chicken sausages, a carton of chocolate ice cream, and a box of frozen vanilla and chocolate macarons.

Even counting the chocolate part of the groceries, I would have had money left from the $79 that happens to be how much cash is in my wallet right now. That's a pretty arbitrary metric, since I don't always have the same amount of cash (I do make a point of having some, because cash still comes in handy sometimes).

Christmas music

Last night I discovered that Kiiras had released a Christmas song, called "Kiirasmas." I don't think I'd objectively say it's a good song, but it's still fun to listen to.

A few years ago, I did a K-pop Christmas song Advent calendar. This morning, as I added "Kiirasmas" to my K-pop Christmas playlist, I realized that if I wanted to post the whole playlist one song a day, I'd have had to start back on October 15! ^^
After having to spend 40 minutes listening to the store playing Christmas music while I waited for the pharmacy to fill a prescription. I'd like to say: No matter how Christmas-adjacent some of its lyrics may be, "My Favorite Things" is not a Christmas song. I'm willing to get seriously injured on this hill. However, if it means that I'll hear "The Christmas Song" less often, I'm willing to act like it's a Christmas song.

Since this is the second one of the day, we only need one more before Christmas to officially call ’80s-style graphic sweaters a hot item once again. Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp stopped by Andy Cohen’s treehouse to model and updated (but only slightly) take on the classic look.

It’s cute! We have no problem with it. We don’t even mind the holes because it gives the classic Cosby sweater a bit more of a punk vibe to it. And of course, in this era of theme-dressing, it’s not unexpected to see a member of the cast working a retro look. We just wish he’d do something about that hair, and by that we mean fire the person who talked him into it.

SF Giants buy one of Bay Area’s premiere performing arts venues

The San Francisco Giants have just made an important acquisition.

But, no, it’s not a power-hitting second baseman so the team can better compete with the World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers in 2026.

It’s actually the Curran Theatre.

The Giants announced Thursday they have acquired the famed theater — which is one of the marquee spots for performing arts in all of the Bay Area — from the Curran’s previous owner Carole Shorenstein Hays “in a private transaction.”

The acquisition will not affect the future of the theater, which is located on 445 Geary St., in the heart of the city’s theater district, officials said.

“The acquisition marks a significant moment in the city’s cultural life, uniting a storied performing arts venue with a civic institution deeply committed to San Francisco’s long-term vitality through sports and entertainment,” according to a news release. “The Shorenstein family’s relationship with the San Francisco Giants reflects shared values of stewardship and long-term investment in San Francisco.”

The Curran will continue to be operated by BroadwaySF, San Francisco’s biggest theater presenter, which also presents shows at the Orpheum and Golden Gate theaters, both located on Market Street. All current programming will continue as scheduled.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The move further paves the way for the Giants — who have long welcomed major concerts into its picturesque ballpark — to be involved with more kinds of entertainment offerings.

“Acquiring the Curran expands our commitment to San Francisco and reinforces our core belief that sports, arts and culture are essential to San Francisco’s identity, economy and resurgence,” says Larry Baer, president and CEO of the Giants. “We intend to honor the Curran’s storied past steeped in Broadway shows and musicals and continue to build and expand the offerings of live performances reflective of our city’s culture, inclusive of music, comedy and family entertainment.”

Carole Shorenstein Hays says the deal helps secure a good future for the theater.

“The Curran is where I first fell in love with the theater as a young girl, and its curation has been the center of my professional life since I acquired it in 2010,” she says. “It was essential to me that its next stewards would ensure it remains a vibrant home for artists and audiences alike. I am so pleased that the Giants have stepped up to the plate.”

San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie also applauded the Giants’ move.

“This is a landmark moment for San Francisco, representing an unprecedented commitment by the Giants to the cultural life of our city,” he says. “It sends a powerful signal of confidence in downtown and Union Square and the essential role the arts and entertainment play in driving our city forward.”

Since opening in 1922, the Curran has hosted several landmark productions. Among the most notable bookings include August Wilson’s “Fences” (which played the Curran prior to winning the Tony Award for best play as well as the Pulitzer Prize); the world premiere engagement of “Wicked.”; and the incredible run of “The Phantom of the Opera” that lasted from 1993 to 1999.

Martinez woman was pregnant when mom stabbed her in the stomach, homicide investigators say

MARTINEZ — Authorities have revealed an even more tragic twist to the recent stabbing death of a 19-year-old woman, allegedly at the hands of her mother: The victim was pregnant when her mom reportedly stabbed her in the stomach, killing both her daughter and unborn grandchild.

Brittney Kazee, 36, allegedly used a small kitchen knife to stab 19-year-old Shaniyah Kazee in the stomach during an argument in the parking lot of their apartment on Fig Tree Lane. There were multiple eyewitnesses who saw different parts of the alleged crime, including Shaniyah’s boyfriend, who may have been the subject of the argument, authorities said.

One area resident reported seeing Brittney Kazee walk by, covered in blood, holding the suspected murder weapon, authorities said. Another told the television station KRON4 that Shaniyah’s boyfriend attempted to keep her alive while paramedics were on their way.

The stabbing occurred Nov. 18, at about 1:40 p.m., police said. Authorities say that Brittney, Shaniyah, and Shaniyah’s boyfriend lived together at the apartment complex.

Officials say they learned of Shaniyah’s pregnancy during her autopsy. It is unlikely to directly impact the case; she was too early into her pregnancy for the fetus to be considered a separate homicide victim under state law, though Contra Costa prosecutors have previously filed double murder charges in the deaths of pregnant women who were further along in their pregnancies.

In the time it took for police to arrive, Brittney allegedly changed her clothes and got rid of the knife she used to kill Shaniyah, authorities said.

Brittney pleaded not guilty to murder with the use of a knife, court records show. She is being held in Contra Costa County and is next due in court in February for a pretrial hearing. Authorities say that at the time of her arrest she had active warrants for violating probation and allegedly crashing her car, then fleeing, while intoxicated. Her bail has been set at $2.03 million, court records show.

Well. That certainly is a lot. We appreciate it because he can sometimes come off bland if he doesn’t put a little work into his look. If nothing else, you can’t call a look like this generic. It reeks of the eighties, from the patterned sweater to the pleated pants, but everything feels a little more exagerrated. We can’t say we’re loving the knitwear combination. We can accept the pullover, but we think the cardigan looks like a Nana sweater. The shoes are awful.

JESSIE BUCKLEY

We don’t know. The red looks great on her, but if you’re going to the trouble of wearing heels, why sport what looks like workout gear over a flimsy skirt? The general style – casual, drapey, offbeat – suits her, but we don’t like any of the pieces.

They look like the annoying neighbors in a National Lampoon movie.

Breaking down Jimmy Butler’s scoring struggles for Warriors

At his best, Jimmy Butler is an unstoppable scorer who thrives in the most valuable spot on the court: right at the rim.

He’s agile enough to maneuver in traffic, crafty enough to draw fouls from unwitting defenders, burly enough to finish through that contact for high-percentage shots.

“Whatever the right play is to make, that’s the play he makes,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said on Wednesday. “So I don’t ever worry about Jimmy.”

But recently, that top-notch scoring form has been absent for a Warriors team that has bobbed barely above and slightly below .500 all season.

While Butler is averaging 19.1 points per game, up from 17.5 a year ago, raw stats do not paint the whole picture.

Butler, 36, has been listed with back, glute and knee injuries already this season, which could explain the drop in his scoring effectiveness. Butler has never been a high-level 3-point shooter. Instead, he has lived at the rim in short midrange as an off-the-dribble scorer.

Last season, a re-energized Butler made 65% of his shots within 5 feet of the rim after being traded from Miami in early February.

And early on this season, he was scoring at a scintillating rate and still boasts a 62.6% rate on close shots.

However, his last 10 games tell a different story. Butler is making just 56.9% of his attempts in that same area, a more significant decline from last year.

His midrange efficiency has also taken a dip, albeit in a small sample size. Butler made 44% of his shots from 8-to-16 feet last season, but has made just 4 of 16 over his last 10 games. Core and knee issues could certainly impact a player’s ability to elevate on jump shots and layups, and at age 36, those injuries surely take a bit longer to heal.

The numbers are not all negative, however. Declining scoring efficiency has not blunted his aggression.

According to the NBA’s tracking data, Butler is still just as determined as ever when it comes to taking the ball to the basket. He averages 12.0 drives per game this season, 12.8 last season and 12.9 over his last 10.

He is also still taking a healthy 7.8 free throws per game, almost identical to the 7.7 he took last year. And Butler is still taking 11.5 shots per game, mirroring the 11.4 he was getting up last season.

So how can the Warriors help transform those drives from empty possessions into points? Well, perhaps the unhappy fan who emailed team owner Joe Lacob had a point, because the team acknowledged that Butler, who often lines up at power forward rather his traditional small forward spot, has not been playing in the right places.

Starting forward Moses Moody said it is on the rest of the team to put Butler in a position to succeed.

“I think it’s just about getting him the ball,” Moody said. “Get him the ball in ideal offensive situations and he can handle the rest.”

Draymond Green mostly agreed with Moody’s assessment, but also put some onus on the six-time All-Star, something Kerr had also done recently.

“As I do a better job of that, we need Jimmy to be more aggressive and demonstrative and take the ball, and say where he wants the ball,” Green said after Sunday’s loss in Portland. “And he will.”

Horford, Spencer out

Al Horford and Pat Spencer were both ruled out of Thursday’s game in Phoenix.

Spencer will miss the game with an excused personal absence. His younger brother, Grizzlies guard Cam Spencer, also missed his team’s game the day before for personal reasons.

Al Horford has played only one game in the past month while he deals with sciatica, and his return is not imminent. Horford told reporters in Phoenix at Thursday’s shootaround that he will take a week or two to build up enough physical condition to return to the court.

Whoopedy Doo - Out Of Office is On - Let the CLEANING begin

Halle-fricking-lujah my out of office is on and I am (technically) on leave until 5 January.

I say technically because I have to nip into the office stupidly early tomorrow to pick up some keys and make some posters, and possibly work a couple of hours one day over the weekend. I will also be very swiftly checking email at least once a day most of next week. Then I plan to have some serious offline time as far as work is concerned between 29 December and 5 January.

They're introducing a new "email over 5 years old gets trashed" rule in January so I have some 20,000 emails to check and delete before then (my predecessors did not believing in archiving important stuff) so I'll be scanning/deleting over the break.

And I have my own epic cleaning, clearing, sorting and decluttering project to deal with over the 17 glorious days that I have to get my shit together. I have a master plan and so many lists with a multiplicity of bullet points! And the icing on the cake the ex is at the cottage from 20 December to 6 January so I can make free use of his washing machine.

My hope is to start the first working week of 2026 from a tidy flat with no more chairdrobes or piles of washing to be done or put away.

I'm sure my plans are overly ambitious but I'm looking forward to seeing what I can actually get done before 5 January rocks around.

I have a headcanon that Te'ijal Ravenfoot is a psychopath. I would love a story that explored this concept further, delving into how Te'ijal's psychopathy would affect/recontextualize both her interactions with her colleagues and her actions throughout the Aveyond games. Furthermore, content that supplements those already in the Aveyond games, such as extra conversations or scenes, would also be welcome.
DNW: Unrequested kinks, mundane/setting change AUs, Te'ijal being "cured" of her psychopathy (i.e. being made neurotypical), Te’ijal character bashing*, neurodivergence being used to excuse bad behavior**.
*Given the stigma surrounding psychopathy, I understand if there is any confusion over this specific DNW. Let me make this clear: psychopaths are still people; having little or no empathy or emotional intelligence does not make one categorically evil or dangerous. For the purposes of this prompt, Te’ijal should be a person with both rights and accountability.
**Using neurodivergence to excuse bad behavior sounds something like this: “She can’t take responsibility for her actions because she can’t control herself/she doesn’t know what she’s doing/her brain isn’t wired correctly/etc.”
On a related note, I am fine with the inclusion of sanist language, bigotry, and/or violence as long as it is not presented as ethically/morally correct by the story itself. Keep in mind that hostility towards a neurodivergent offender in retaliation to the offender perpetrating antisocial behavior, such as inflicting harm upon or violating the rights of others, is not necessarily sanism.
On another related note, I am also fine with Te'ijal receiving treatment for her psychopathy as long as it does not fall into the trope of curing neurodivergence.
Disclaimer: Psychopathy is not a condition that one can be clinically diagnosed with. The proper diagnostic term for people exhibiting behavior commonly associated with psychopathy is antisocial personality disorder. However, the term "psychopathy" is still useful as a descriptor for a distinct pattern of behavior within the spectrum of antisocial personality disorder.

Vampire King Dick is the best thing ever. He's so evil and ruthless and I just want to see him fuck everyone up and laugh while drinking their loved ones' blood out of a cup while sadistically taunting them. Tell me there wasn't sexual tension when he had dying Jason at his mercy and pulled off his mask, or a huge D/s undertone in his Lord/Lieutenant relationship with Hal. Or the part where he implied having Kory as a prisoner while using her blood as a temporary "cure" for signs of vampirism. Just want to see Dick as a dominant, totally remorseless vampire villain who you want to hate but also can't help but be enthralled by because "sexy vampires" and stuff.
Kinda into any kind of kinky scenario where Dick keeps Jason or Kory prisoner as unturned blood cows/sex toys, or Hal being a good little submissive vampire servant, or Jason being a good little submissive vampire servant in a world where Dick turns him. Of course if shippy/NSFW isn't your thing I'm just really into Dick being a demanding vampire lord in general so him basically commanding Jason or Hal or keeping Kory as a prisoner with heavy seductive undertones would be awesome too.
Evil Dick and top Dick (if you want to go shippy at all) only please. I have a huge squick with fanon's obsession with whumping Dick Grayson and bottom Dick so that's the only thing I ask. Would love worldbuilding or something that tells me more about the characters.
The full game gave us a lot of info on what exactly caused the visitors, but there’s still a lot we don’t know. Why is the pale man so in control while the cashier girl so lost? Are there different kinds of visitors? Are the visitors caused by fungus or the bug in the ears? Are they revived from the dead? Are some of them more “original” or “powerful” than the others? Do they really wear human skin (other than the pale man, the old granny also has a face that droops the longer you speak to her)? And how do the sun and FEMA play into all of this?
Are the visitors like vampires—risen from the dead, can’t enter without an invitation, and anyone can become one?
You don’t have to include all the requested characters, but please include the Protagonist.
The protagonist—his backstory is so intriguing. I want to know more. I want to know why he’s the way he is—lonely and borderline suicidal, but has to learn to open his heart for his guests. One thing the game really left me wanting is that there isn’t a single ending that’s objectively “good.” No… I didn’t really like the death ending in which we assume the Protagonist just… died. I’d love to see your take on a “good ending” in which the Protagonist not only survives but… is grateful that he does. Maybe with some of the guests being his found family. Perhaps he ends up fulfilling the neighbor’s last wish and adopts his daughter (damaged man reluctantly adopting an orphaned child is one of my all-time favorite tropes!). Or forming a bond with the widow and raising the neighbor’s daughter with her?
Other guests—not all listed, but I’d also love to learn more about any of the other guests that you find interesting.
I also find the demon baby ending really creepy and would love the backstory of the seductive woman and the cult.
Since only a few characters have canonical names, I’d love for you to come up with names for characters who don’t, but would prefer them to be other Eastern European names to fit with the setting.

Can be Dimitri &/ Kurt; Dimitri &/ Protagonist; Kurt &/ Protagonist; OR Dimitri &/ Kurt &/ Protagonist. I'd really really love for this to be either romantic, sexual, or something similar, no matter which character group you're picking. But if that's really not your thing, that's fine, I just really want to see these characters! I have a slight preference for plot focus rather than platonic relationship focus if romance/smut is off the table.
I'll admit, I haven't played the game hands-on, only watched numerous playthrough videos of it. I think I've seen all the routes, however, so I should understand whichever detail you want to focus on. What I like about the relationships from this game is that... they're all kinda fucked up? Kurt's manipulation of everyone around him; Dimitri being a doctor who wants to do good but is inexcusable in enabling Kurt's evil deeds (possibly blinded by love?); the Protagonist being the player character connecting the most with us but ends up revealing as an enforcer of a tyrannical regime... Messy feelings and fucked up power dynamics all around!!! Kurt keeping Dimitri by his side using sweet talk but holds unspoken power over him; Kurt being all around creepy and fucked up with Protagonist when she lost her memories (I think the whole non-consensual mind/body modification alone is a HUGE assault on someone's person); Dimitri trauma bonding with the Protagonist over Kurt's manipulations... Or put them together, have Dimitri bonding with Protagonist only for Kurt to discover them and punish them both, or let Kurt be at their mercy. Going darker: Kurt forcing them into doing things they aren't comfortable with as punishment, or something with an unbalanced V-type relationship where Kurt clearly prefers one of them but keeps the other around anyway just to be cruel.
Other random ideas:
- anything similar to the Dimitri ending (possibly without the deaths?) where they successfully run away together (whether in a romantic way or not)
- I kept having thoughts about Kurt sexually assaulting the protagonist what with undressing in front of her and sleeping in her bed... but I'd also love to see more of the Anime-esque "bastard boyfriend" trope where he essentially tortures her (traps her in a toxic relationship) even though he's written as the pretty boy male love interest stereotype
- Kurt and Dimitri's backstory, how they got together, etc. I see their relationship being a bit more consensual than the above, but I will never say no to noncon either, especially with how fucked up Kurt is.
- Kurt arrested by Protagonist ending: the potential ramifications of that. Also I get really excited thinking about a Protagonist with her memories back giving Kurt a taste of his own medicine. Her torturing Kurt (whether in a kinky way or not) for information or for what he'd done would be great, as does a wider look at the people she works for and the attempt at recreating Kurt's brand of immortality
- something gen (or not so gen) horror involving Kurt's fate or Dimitri crawling inside the mansion walls would be GREAT
For Protagonist (if you're including her), I'm fine with any OC name you want to give her as long as it's reasonably believable for a female character with an Eastern European-esque background. I'm also fine with either second or third-person narration with her as long as it's not literally readerfic (no stuff like y/n or deliberating involving the reader, just treat her as her own character please.)

I’m a sucker for stories where the trauma that characters face is treated with care. The middle of the book nearly lost me, but the ending pulled me back full force!
Damn! I was hoping for Newton to survive, but I can’t complain that it ended up being Max. The chapter dedicated to his lasting trauma is sad but so well done that I can even forgive the turtle scene. I really want to see some form of happy ending where both boys survive and grow into adulthood, or just anything that’s less sad than the canon ending. And what about the aftermath? How would Newton corroborate with Max’s version of events? How would the parents cope? Would the two surviving boys form some kind of a trauma bond? Max/Newton is just as good as Max & Newton, so gimme shippy or gen content, I love them both!
I also love dark shit and the body horror of this book, especially when the worms are making Shelley believe that he’s pregnant and must now protect his “babies.” That’s both fucked up and has a… strange erotic undertone that makes you kinda uncomfortable. I love body horror, especially the type when a foreign parasitic entity is rewiring someone’s brain or modifying their body, severing their identity and making them into tools for the entity’s procreation. I like Shelley’s psychopathic creepiness as well as the scifi horror of the worms. Gimme something creepy, if you’d like! I’d love to see whump in which Shelley gets his hands (or the worms make him get his hands) on Max or Newton or both. Torturing them or making them into hosts just like Shelley. No happy ending is required for this, especially if you want to fully embrace the horror!

I love Eastern Promises! Nikolai is such an intriguing character, there is just so much about him we… don't know. I also love the way his and Anna’s connection develops, even though it never becomes fully romantic in the film. I re-watched Kindred: The Embraced this year and I felt like Frank and Julian’s relationship never really got the deepening it deserved. I mean… they interact in the first episodes, come to an agreement (something that sort of defies The Masquerade, right?), Julian actually puts Kohanek under his protection and after that… not much else happens between them. So I’d love a fic that could fill in the gaps, or expand the canon in this regard. I like shippy, but non-shippy is just as good. Ah, and because it involves vampires, bloodplay is fine too.

I just love Amadeus, and anything that expores Wolfie and Salieri's complicated dynamic is welcome. I won't lie, I love them as a pairing, from the most AU-ish fluff to hatesex. I especially love the idea that Salieri's love language is jealousy, and also of Wolfie giving him trouble and testing his patience. Whump!Mozart having to rely on Salieri is also a nice one. This show was bananananas and I love it. Every episode a wilder explanation of what was going on than the last. I've requested Khatha alone because I'm fascinated by him but I'd love a fic that includes Chan or Dome, or if you wanted, Boon. The Boon Khatha Chan love triangle is very juicy and the idea that they've both just been living in the world, both trying to live up to Chan's legacy, is a lot.
What I liked best about the show is the strong interpersonal relationships and the really cool worldbuilding and I'd love to see more of that. I'm a believer that when Khatha asked Chan to be brothers he was doing a romantic confession and using the strongest language he could, like saying hey I want to be bonded forever. Anything that talks about their relationship and its legacy would be really cool
Prompts:
- Immortal Khatha training montage! We know that he heals when he's on museum ground, how did he figure that out? I'm also presuming he did a Bruce Wayne style travel the world and learn all about cursed artifacts and also learn languages and martial arts and stuff. All of that would be cool to read about
- Chan and Khatha and their years together before Chan got into the village healing business. Just the two outcasts against the world. Sweet times of them swimming in lakes and making out under waterfalls, pointing out constellations. And difficult moments of them avoiding others, figuring out food. Anything about them during that time
- Post-canon Khatha and Dome. He went through time and space to find him, we need that sequel. How do they get back? Do they get back. Are they both immortal beings with cosmic powers? Maybe it's a historical fic set during wwii with them trying to avoid getting discovered but getting entangled in things anyway - love a reluctant hero situation. Maybe they get back to the future and its about them re-learning each other and taking down Boon.
- Khatha/Chan/Dome. How does it happen? Dealer's choice. Maybe there's more time shenanigans, maybe Chan didn't really die to break the curse and he's just about, maybe they hop a dimension who knows, this canon allows for many possibilities. I just think it would be SO fraught and sexy. Dome who hasn't been betrayed and his honest love, Chan with the knowledge of Khatha and the complexity and the devotion, and Khatha who presumably is the most turned on a person could possibly be and ALSO has angst and stuff. Bonus if Khatha is worried that he's projecting his feelings about Chan onto Dome and then this threesome teaches him that he really, really isn't
- sex! magic! This canon needs so many sex magic fics. Where's the fuck or die pollen, where's the possessed locket that forces proximity until they have sex. Please write me an elaborate sex ritual that has to be done to uncurse an artifact. Ooh maybe it needs a virgin and Dome is the only one. We had Dome tied to a table and no one had a dubconny orgasm out of it, this is a crime. Maybe it's part of Khatha's training montage where he has to learn the various sex arcane techniques... maybe he has to teach them to someone else

TayGun are sooooo 😵
They need to be snuggling or they will perish. I love how whipped Tay is. Like he was roasting Off's bag and then Gun said actually that's my bag and Tay IMMEDIATELY said oh that's a cute bag. Like oh my god. They've known each other almost as long as Off has known Gun, Tay was there at the dedication ceremony for Puppy Honey and Kiss the Series.
Things about TayGun that are very juicy to me
- Off and Tay were roommates and really close friends. The idea of introducing your friend to your fake boyfriend and then them becoming real boyfriends... the emotional experience of your friend realising they like someone else more than you... the tension of the fake boyfriend v secret real boyfriend + friendship. But it's good, isn't it? To have everything be tangled up in people you like and trust already
- The way when people were hashtagging KristGun Krist basically stopped being in frame with Gun but when people called out Tay for snuggling with Gun he was like SHUT UP IM GONNA HUG HIM HARDER
- the way Gun and Tay are magnetically connected to each other
- Gun going to visit Tay's grandma and sitting and hanging out with her for hours
- Tay participating in the shipping of OffGun. Most of the 'best' OffGun moments were documented by Tay. The idea of a romantic partner supporting their babe's career by framing them as romantic with someone else

I've seen epilogen pt 2!
I'm happy to receive fic about Linus and any of the other nominated characters but I'm particularly interested in Tanja. I'm really sad she died! I think their relationship was so interesting. I'm especially interested in a scenario where she survived and was hiding out in that house in s6 while they were under siege. The other partners were like this is messed up!! and scary!!! and I just think Tanja would have had a different perspective on that. She's been in that world longer and is no questions ride or die for the dangerous things Linus was doing. I'd love to see her have an in-law dinner with Sonja.
I'm also interested in his relationship with Emil, the kind of honorary uncle who is like pleeeeeeease stop doing crimes. Especially in some of those earlier periods; like Linus totally stole that scooter and Emil was like he's a good kid let him off. Like what was going on with them. Man is so beleagured. And after Linus stopped trusting the family (but still showed up) he clearly still trusted Emil.
Aside from that, I'd like anything about Linus. He has the worst time in that show--and that's tough competition considering everything that happens. I'm happy to see that continue. Or give him a nice day.

London rewired my brain and I ship them. I have written for them on my ao3 as Rioana if you are curious to some of my takes. What I love about Edmar is the way they take turns supporting each other in different areas. Edvin helped Omar be comfortable acting on camera, Omar helped Edvin learn to navigate fame, Edvin learned from Omar about running a business, now Edvin supports Omar in that business (that they CO-OWN). They are both incredible in their spheres and still growing! And they'll always be the guys that got famous together; that's an incredible bond. No one can know what that was like but them.
I love that being in YR helped Omar feel more comfortable expressing himself and his sexuality, especially after feeling internalised shame and struggling with it for ages. I'd be interested in seeing that more explored.
In general, I would prefer if Edvin didn't fall into a clueless straight boy trope.

- listen. if you're up for some increased intimacy between them i am also. i think they could both do with some being treated with care and recontextualising their bodies. esp since the newer novellas have jos doing some kissing
when it comes to Ryan, I'm happy ignoring anything that isn't in the main trilogy, or having him on the side, or as a friend. If you can make some convoluted proxy fucking thing work too I'm fine with that as well, but I'd prefer a fic that focuses on Jos and Evan.
