Most of this is stuff I haven't written, but hey, it's good to expand your comfort zones. And there are only a couple I'm eyeing particularly askance. Pretty good card, overall!

The rules mention of "significant factor" but also "at your discretion" is indeed where I'd pin my hopes...but you make an excellent point, which I think I'd end up having to follow:

(e.g., so the comfort would be about a bullet wound or head trauma from falling off a wall, rather than comfort about something pregnancy-related).

Yeah, that makes very good sense, and I can see the dodging involved, which would kind of defeat the point of the exercise. And therefore I would definitely need one of your clever POI ideas or similar, had I gotten 'unplanned pregnancy' (I ruled out 'difficult pregnancy' but left in 'unplanned' and took a gamble, in order to remove something else).

And I am all for an accountability thing, and/or group writing hours, or what have you.

Whatever else we do, we could certainly go for 'story-a-month' (aka Arduinna's Law, wasn't that the definition of that one?), if you like. And then the group-writing-time could happen when we can manage it, but wouldn't be quite as mandatory (I'm someone who presently has a fair amount of trouble getting the time and privacy for group writing time, although I love it when I can get it...)

Understandable! If your eyes are still spinning around all @____@ , you could take June as 1) vidding crazy time, and secondarily 2) eyeballing card and thinking about your favorite squares time.

It was, for the brief shining three months or however long it lasted. *g* But it's not a bad schedule -- enough pressure so people are writing something, but not so much everyone's getting burned out. (Although wow, the end of the month comes up fast...)
