I'm always interested in hearing about people's Bulletproof Tropes -- the tropes that tend to pique your interest in something regardless of the medium (and occasionally regardless of its execution). I talked about some of mine a while ago here, so I'm curious to see if you have any tropes that you'd consider bulletproof?
