Thank you so much! The thought of a story or art in any of these fandoms is already making me happy.

I love all of these fandoms unreservedly, so if you have a yen to explore the universe, or bring in additional characters I didn't list, it's all good.

If you want more information about my requests, read on - but please don't worry if your ideas go in a different direction. As long as it's for one of these fandoms and relationships, I'll be happy. \o/

My fanwork tastes
I generally prefer the warm / happy / fluffy / vanilla end of the spectrum.

I'm mainly a m/m slash fan, with a strong leaning toward buddy pairs; where I’m not in it for the slash, I’m usually in it for the gen.

Slash for me covers the full spectrum from UST and preslash through totally committed/involved, and can be explicit or not. It's all about the characters and their relationship, whatever point it may be at. "Relationship" also covers friendship, and gen about these characters will also make me really happy.

I like fanworks that weave into canon (missing scenes, episode tags...), that expand on canon (backstory, futurefic/art...), that deepen existing canon (case/adventure, slice of life, romances...).


Why I love these fandoms

Burn Notice (Sam Axe/Michael Westen)
Request details: I love how competent they both are, and how they're such a well-oiled team, even though they couldn't be more different in a lot of ways. I'd love to see something warm about them and their strong connection to each other, anything from backstory to a slice of life to working on a case.

Why I requested it: Michael's world is often pretty grim, angsty, and tense; Sam's is usually pretty cheerful, friendly, and laid-back. I love seeing how effortlessly those two worldviews fit together as they work together toward the same goal, or even just hanging out. I'm fascinated by how far back they clearly go, and how often their paths not only crossed (I loved Michael's casual cameo in The Fall of Sam Axe), but merged, so they wound up working together -- Michael doesn't seem to have any other Navy SEAL buddies, just Sam. And over the years, they've clearly developed brocooli. <3

They're each other's chosen family, and from what we've seen, that isn't usual for either of them. Michael especially doesn't choose family lightly, and doesn't make friends easily; Sam makes friends easily and is loyal to them, but it's all more casual buddy stuff -- Michael (and the rest of Michael's chosen family) is where he's put his heart. They'd do anything for each other, and not just because they owe each other their lives countless times over. They even sometimes manage to tell each other how they feel, in their own awkwardly sincere way, instead of coming at it sideways through teasing.

I'd love to see something that goes into that connection, whether backstory, a case they work on together, or just sitting and watching the sunset with a couple of cold ones.


due South (Benton Fraser/Ray Vecchio)
Request details: Oh, due South <3. The first two seasons are my favorites; I imprinted on RayV and his relationship with Fraser. I would like more of that, please! Working, hanging out, playing, eating, getting lost, being found - anything at all that touches on their relationship and connection will make me happy.

Why I requested it: I don't think there was anything about the first two seasons I didn't love, but especially RayV, porcupine extraordinaire: prickly as hell on the outside but with such a soft underbelly, man. I fell completely for him in the pilot, where he crawled out of a hospital bed to travel to Canada to help a man he barely knew, but clearly had already decided was worth it. He and Fraser loved each other so much, and needed each other so much, and were so damn good for each other, it just melts me. *happy sigh* Their universe could go incredibly dark sometimes, but as long as they had each other there was always hope.

I'd love to see more of their connection, in any situation or location. I just want more of them and their awesome selves.


MASH ("Trapper" John McIntyre/Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce)
Request details: I love them both to bits, and I love them together best of all. Anything from a quiet moment in the Swamp to a crazed day in the OR to the day they met up back home - whatever you want to do, if it's about them and their connection, I'll be happy.

Why I requested it: I can't remember a time when I didn't watch MASH, and while I loved the whole series, my favorite seasons were the first three, with Trapper and Hawkeye at the heart of that. I love the joy they take in each other, the way they delight in delighting each other, whether with a joke or a shared smile or a drink after a hard day at the OR. They're hugely competent, and smart, and caring, and when they're together all of that is more than multiplied. I also love that they can disagree, and argue, and even fight, and still come out of it with an intact, strong relationship - they may back each other, but they're not each other's yes-men, and they're not blind to each other's flaws.

So basically, show me that relationship, and I'll be happy. What I love best about them is how they make each other happy, and that's what I'd love to see.


Person of Interest (Harold Finch/John Reese (PoI), Harold Finch/John Reese & Bear (Person of Interest))
Request details: I love that these two ridiculously competent, broken, self-isolating men found themselves becoming partners and friends and family, right down giving their dog a bath in a tub together. I miss them, and want more of them interacting. Could be anything: a slice of life, trapped in a storm, working on a Number, anything you want. Just show me their connection, and I'll be happy. <3

Why I requested it: PoI was one of my great fannish loves, especially during the first two-and-a-bit seasons, and Finch and Reese were always the heart of the show for me. Watching these paranoid, isolated, wary, deeply untrusting men go from a brutally pragmatic business relationship ("I'll line 'em up; you kneecap 'em." "...Okay, that works.") to having canonical rainy-day excursions to the movies where they take cover under the same umbrella and sneak their puppy in because he's such a good boy, and panicking when one of them lost contact with the other, and risking everything for each other, was an utter delight, and basically pushed every old-school slash button I have.

I would love to see absolutely anything about them and their connection.

I adore all these fandoms, and will be happy with absolutely anything you do, as long as you enjoy doing it.
