i don't think anatsuno meant their phones, like the android, but rather their phone service that you can access through your google account? (there is probably an ugly box on your gmail page trying to get you use that service right now). because it would make a lot of more sense if that was what they meant - from an internal security standpoint (and frankly a data transfer standpoint) the idea that apple is cool with letting google have access to essentially everything happening in your phone just breaks my mind.
