This has been very useful for me, it has explained some of the issues I've been having with my searches, like excluding pairings means I'm excluding those characters as a term. This is is tough, because my fandom has a very dominate pairing and everyone is in the habit of listing them in the character section and listing all pairings within a fic.
Also, ampersanded pairings are treated differently from slashed. More problems. I don't understand why this is, I assumed the wranglers would combine them.
I'd like to be able to search for my pairing, both slashed and ampersanded, limited to gen and m/m, excluding the dominate pairing as well as some search terms.
