Doctor Who 6x04: Spoilers

That made me so incredibly happy, all the way through. "Where's my thief?" <3 <3 <3! I love so much that her name for him is Thief first, Doctor second. And of course she stole him, too! That is so perfect, I cannot even. *happy flail* Of course she didn't want to be put in a museum, and wanted to go on adventures instead. And of course she was a partner in them, whether he knew it or not, taking him where he needed to go. They are so MFEO, the Doctor and his TARDIS.

"Did you wish very hard?" *dies* I love how the companions all know this; it was shades of Sarah Jane and Rose laughing their heads off over "Does he still stroke bits of the TARDIS?" "Yeah! Yeah! He does! I'm like, "do you two wanna be alone?"" It really is always the two of them in the end; the TARDIS is the only thing that never changes.

"700 years, and you finally ask!" Oh, TARDIS <3 And he may call her Sexy Thing when they're alone, but I was all a-flail again at "I like it when you call me Old Girl" - he's called her that for so very long. <3

And we finally got to see more of the interior, even if it was all corridors. But we got the Cloister Bell again.

Rory the pretty one, whispering to Amy to get her to ask for a room that doesn't have bunkbeds. But bunkbeds are cool! A bed with a ladder! Heeee. And early on in the ep, omg his delivery of "You've got two of those?" -- bwah.

And then the end, where the Doctor's dancing alone with his TARDIS, who's taking him where he needs to go, and I've got fan_eunice's Moons of Jupiter playing gleefully in my head, the OTP interlude in the middle. Because yes!

I mean, of course, DW being DW, it was not all glee -- oh, poor TARDIS, looking at all her broken sisters lying in front of her, and poor Doctor, faced with all those recordings and crushed all over again with the knowledge that he really is the last, and poor Amy, thinking Rory had died hating her (but really -- once they got past the few-months part, the rest was patently unbelievable. Rory would never do that.)

But mostly, this was the OTP ep to end all OTP eps. And I adored it. Enough to go find actual pink sparkly hearts to put on this post. *g*

(But who's really the Time Lord, if the TARDIS is the one who truly exists in all of time and space at the same time space moment point?)

Tangent: So when do you think the AO3 coders will add the ability to archive things that haven't been created yet? I am sure it's on the roadmap!
