... Firefox private browsing. Not Google. *facepalm* The things you see when you come back to update a comment.

Which I did because I went to check out Firefox's private browsing setup, and their Help pages say that private browsing won't stop online tracking:

"Warning: Private Browsing doesn't make you anonymous on the Internet. Your Internet service provider, employer, or the sites themselves can still track what pages you visit. Private Browsing also doesn't protect you from keyloggers or spyware that may be installed on your computer."

Basically it just doesn't store anything in your own browser's history, download lists, etc. It'll stop cookies from being downloaded, but won't stop beacons or other passive trackers.

I checked, and it looks like Chrome's Incognito Mode works the same way:

"Browsing in incognito mode only keeps Google Chrome from storing information about the websites you've visited. The websites you visit may still have records of your visit. Any files saved to your computer will still remain on your computer.

For example, if you sign into your Google Account on http://www.google.com while in incognito mode, your subsequent web searches are recorded in your Google Web History. In this case, to prevent your searches from being stored in your Google Account, you'll need to pause your Google Web History tracking."

So you might still need to use two browsers...
If you don't have an account you can create one now.
HTML doesn't work in the subject.
