I just put up a batch of recs -- 30 this time, in 8 fandoms. Newer recs are at the top of the fandom's section, and everything shows what date I added it.

Thank you for reccing "This Error". I'm always overjoyed to see my fiction getting a little attention, even though the best bits of this are probably [livejournal.com profile] kormantic's work.

My pleasure! And don't sell yourself short, you. *g* This was actually the first time I'd read it; it must have been posted when I was still in my "dS hurts too much to read" place. So it was really great to find it; it made me really happy, and had me wanting to pull out my DVDs for a day-long marathon. :)

I'm really glad to hear that. (: I don't sell myself short very often, really; low self-esteem is not one of my problems! Just giving appropriate credit to Pares for her inimitable ability to write snark.

I did some other DS stories you might like -- let me know if you'd like links.

Heh. She does have that, it's true. *g*

Sure! Thanks!

I'm glad. (: They're all at my site (http://www.netwiz.net/~laurasha/vanity/ds.html). Of the DS stories, I'm probably proudest of the latter bits of "Coming to Light", my aborted epic. The first story's a bit rough, although it's got some decent bits in. I went a little overboard on Fraser's emotional display. But I think it gets a lot better after that. I had this whole huge concept for this thing, a big series that would go through all the show's seasons and beyond, with every third section about Franny (like in Moby Dick, where every third chapter is about whaling!), but I petered out early.

Anyway, there's some decent stuff there. The other pieces are quite short, and mostly just kinky fun. "Beautiful Goodbye," my first DS story, takes a couple of liberties with canon but it holds up pretty well, I think.

I hope you enjoy them.

My pleasure! I meant to leave a LoC for it, too, actually, and have only just realized I spaced on that. I can't tell you how much I love the way you work with the entire universe while still staying firmly planted in SGA -- it gives your stories this wonderful sense of depth and groundedness (for lack of a better term) for me. Even when there are no specific mentions, I can still feel the wider SG universe as the background. Makes me incredibly happy. *g*

Thanks! There's just so many possibilities with the SG universe, and I've been watching the show for so long, it feels kind of natural, I guess. :)
